I’ve been in the insurance industry for 28 years having started in 1990 with MetLife Insurance Company. In 1992, I went to work with the United Insurance Company of America and ran a rural debit for five years. Afterwards, in 1997, I began working with a local brokerage agency and sold Mortgage & Life Insurance. It was not until April 1999 that I became part of the my current agency and have stayed with them ever since.

I grew up in Sumter, South Carolina and graduated from Sumter High School– home of the Fighting Gamecocks! During my time in high school, I played varsity baseball from freshman through senior year and enjoyed every minute of it!

I love being an insurance agent because it allows me to help people on a daily basis. One of the most meaningful parts of my job is helping my clients in need. By offering excellent service, I am able to provide my customers with a sense of security about the future, which is something that you just can’t put a price on!

I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting and watching my kids play sports, especially baseball! My favorite seasons are the holiday and hunting seasons. I can’t stop talking about politics, our Great Country and my children’s future.

When I’m not working, you can find me on my small farm working on projects and building things. I get a lot of pleasure from working with my hands, doing mostly woodwork and other projects to improve my home. When the weather is cold, I enjoy hunting and when the weather is warm, I enjoy spending time on the beach and at the lake.

As an insurance agent, I am obsessed with helping families in need. I am particularly passionate about an organization that hits close to home known as the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.

I started working in the insurance industry about 18 years ago! Transitioning from a bank teller position to insurance was an exciting and unique experience. The opportunity to build   relationships with our clients, as well as, get to know them has made me really love my job and never look back.

My hometown in Paxville, South Carolina, where I went to Sumter High School and was actually in the same graduating class as Bobby!

I am most excited by the importance I can place on establishing and maintaining personal connections with our clients. Being available to all our clients is something I really enjoy and get so much satisfaction out of.

For fun, during the warmer months, you can find me relaxing by the pool and during the cooler months, I enjoy deer hunting or relaxing at home with a good read. You can also find me watching all types of sports and always cheering on the Clemson Tigers. Go Tigers! I truly enjoy spending quality time with my family. We are very tight knit, and I don’t know what I would do without them.

In my spare time, I love giving my time to the elderly community in my community.

I have been working in the insurance industry for about two years now and it has been my best job experience to date. The most rewarding part about my job is helping people and getting to know our clients on personal level as well. It really puts a smile on my face when I have the opportunity to make our clients happy!

I grew up in the very small town of Summerton, South Carolina. As I grew older, I fell in love with the small town feeling– everyone knows your name and treats you like family! I like to apply this small town mentality to my work by treating my clients like members of my own family.

My weekends are spent hanging out with my fiancé, our son, and our dog. Softball is a major part of my life– I have been playing since I was 7 and I have even helped coach my younger sister’s travel ball team. I also help my fiancé coach his Men’s Open League team. Clearly, being a team player is something I have done my whole life!

In my spare time, I like to volunteer at the local SPCA. Helping animals is something I am very passionate about! Because of my love for animals, horseback riding is something that I have really gotten into over the past few years. My favorite part about horseback riding is learning the different styles of riding and developing the remarkable bond between the rider and his or her horse.

Hello! I’m Donald Back, originally from the small town of Bath, Maine and now happily residing in Sumter, South Carolina. I’ve worked in the insurance industry for over 26 years now and with no signs of slowing down anytime soon! My role in the agency allows me to help people make decisions on life insurance and retirement. I take much pleasure in helping to answer life’s more complicated questions with a simple conversation.

Whenever I’m not at the office or working I like to travel and visit my family back home. A fun fact, I was a guitarist in a band during my youth days in high school! Being the caretaker of four cats, I’m also very passionate about protecting animals and have personal involvement with The Humane Society.

I am originally from a small town in Clarendon County, SC. I have been working at the Bobby Beatson Agency for over 9 years now. I enjoy being able to help customers with their needs on a daily basis. Having the opportunity to work in an industry as rewarding as the insurance industry is a great feeling.

When I’m not at the office, you can find me spending time with my grandbabies. Sharing memories with them is my favorite activity. I enjoy the outdoors and camping on weekends. I also love to travel, my go to vacation spot is Las Vegas. A guilty pleasure of mine is participating in competitive sports and games.

I’m very passionate about supporting cancer awareness. Working in an industry where you help people on a daily basis makes you always want to do more.
